We made some noise a couple of months back with our version 2 of Android and iPhone app. While the added features like Ride later and Ola Money were disruptive in more ways than one, we loved the way you came back to us asking for more. We’ve worked harder to get these out to you sooner than we had planned. And there’s something for everyone in this release!
We just unveiled v2.1 into both markets with a host of more awesome features. This makes the app more complete and your one-stop shop to move around your city. What’s new? Read on!
Your booking screen now lets you book a Compact or Sedan available in your city. You can easily switch between available car type or simply select ‘Any’ available cab. What’s more, this is also available for your Ride later bookings. What you see is what you get!
Rides
Your rides now available in your pocket. List of your City Taxi rides including upcoming rides are viewable from one dashboard. View ride details, track a ride in real-time and more.
Favourites
Never search or enter your address again! Mark your favourite places, edit the pre-filled addresses and update the exact address. Voila, you’re good to go anytime with just a tap!
Want more? The new app allows you to cancel any ride; even an advance booking, right from Rides. Don’t go digging for your invoices – you can simply mail them to yourself or your finance guy when you need them.
And to make your life easy, the rate card is available right on the booking screen to let you compare and choose between car categories. Did we tell you that you can now book a ride anytime? Now you can, even if a ride is already in progress. Isn’t that like superman?
