Not only that, but it also brings to the table a perfect balance of proteins (lentils), carbohydrates (rice), fats (ghee) and fibres (from vegetables).
In recent times, khichdi had become relegated to a childhood memory for most of us, with the onslaught of western cuisines and fast food choices. We at Khichdi Experiment decided to bring this wholesome dish to the forefront once again, with our own little twist.

After experimenting with many different recipes of khichdi, our experienced chefs settled on a delectable line up of 20 exciting varieties.
Our menu includes everything from classics like Tadkewali Dal Khichdi and Langerwali Dal Khichdi, to radical experiments like Palak Paneer Khichdi, Pav Bhaji Khichdi or Achari Khichdi, to regional twists like Sambar Khichdi and Bengali Panch Phoran Khichdi.
