We take immense pleasure in welcoming Arun Sarin, former CEO of Vodafone Group Plc on our board as an Independent Director. Arun is a globally respected business icon. His experience in management and in growing large businesses is invaluable to us. His mentorship and guidance will help us in further driving growth for Ola.
Arun not only brings global perspective, but also very deep understanding of emerging markets like India. The Vodafone brand under his leadership was serving over 300 million customers globally, with a market capitalization of $150bn.
